TAR

Beechwood tar by proFagus has been processed for many decades in various products. Thanks to the unique manufacturing process, the composition of our beech tar is unique and consists of more than 200 substances, including guaiacol, syringol and cyclotene. Also because of these ingredients beechwood tar has been used since the beginning of the 20th century for pharmaceutical applications, as an additive in paints and coatings or as attractant for hunting.

Our Beechwood tar products are Reach registered and therefore approved for trade in the EU.
