Our region is close to our heart. We therefore regularly support events and clubs in the region. This commitment can be seen in different ways.
For example, we are a local sponsor of regional clubs in and around the Weserbergland region and organize regular reforestation campaigns.
Through our initiatives, such as the planting of new trees with classes of school students, we convey to children the importance and beauty of our natural environment. We teach them how important it is to support the retention and maintenance of our forests and woodlands and actively participate in the planting of the seedlings.
proFagus has been based in Bodenfelde for more than 125 years. Yet as faithful and rooted as we are – standing still is not our way. We actively support numerous regional and national projects.
We participate in reforestation campaigns in the surrounding area in order to retain forests and woodlands and to set an example of respect for nature for future generations.
We also support regional associations through sponsoring and by organizing grilling festivals.
In addition to our popular nationwide Root Camps, we also organize regular reforestation campaigns with school students.
It is very important to us to introduce children to protection of the environment. We therefore plant new trees with classes of school children from the region several times a year and teach them how important our forests and woodlands are for the future.
