Wood has been charred in the idyllic Weserbergland region for over 125 years. Our plant was already well known as it still belonged to “Degussa”. Today, proFagus is the unchallenged market leader in the production of high-quality and environmentally-friendly produced beech grilling charcoal. The plant in Bodenfelde is one of the most modern production facilities in the whole of Europe.
We use the raw material beechwood to create products of the highest quality with a great deal of respect for nature.
